Through initiatives such as wildlife sanctuaries, nature-based activities, and eco-friendly accommodations, Kerala has embraced a greener path, minimizing environmental footprints while sowing seeds of economic prosperity in local communities. Involving local residents in the planning, management, and operations of ecotourism ventures has proven to be the linchpin of Kerala's success. This inclusive approach has not only created job opportunities but also cultivated a sense of ownership and environmental stewardship among the people.
