सार

Women's rights encompass the freedoms and entitlements specific to women and girls, often hindered by societal norms, cultural traditions, and systemic laws. Despite the significant progress made through international treaties such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), challenges such as gender-based violence, lack of property rights, and economic inequality persist globally. This paper examines the global landscape of women's rights, highlighting the critical role of international frameworks, legal protections, and property ownership in empowering women. It also explores the persistent barriers that undermine these rights, including cultural norms and weak enforcement mechanisms. The findings underscore the need for unified global efforts to dismantle discriminatory practices and ensure that women live with dignity, equality, and freedom.
