The study aims to emphasize the Importance of Efficient Inventory Management on grocery shop’s performance so that it will be embossed on the minds of businessmen. The study is performed on data of selected 20grocery shops in Nagpur, Maharashtra. To ascertain the Impact of Efficient Inventory Management on profitability, primary data as well as secondary data are used.A questionnaire was used to collect first- hand information.Ratio analysis used to analyze the profitability through, Return on Capital Employed (ROCE), Gross Profit Ratio and Net Profit Ratio (NPR). The parameters used for measuring impact of efficient inventory management include Current ratio and Inventory turnover ratio. Tool used for Analysis includes Descriptive Statistics, Ratio Analysis and Regression. For this SPSS was used.
