Abstract

This study explores the behavioral patterns and educational inclinations of Generation Z within the Pune district, focusing on their preferences for online learning, the influence of social media, and environmental consciousness. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research integrated quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, enabling a comprehensive understanding of this demographic. Key findings revealed a significant preference for flexible learning models, with 42.5% favoring fully online learning and 39% opting for blended approaches. Social media emerged as a critical driver of consumer behavior, with 15.5% of participants consistently relying on platforms like Instagram and TikTok for purchasing decisions. Environmental consciousness was another defining trait, reflecting the generation’s prioritization of sustainability in both consumption and career aspirations.
