Guidelines for Contributors
-
Titles of articles or research papers must be in italics with proper diacritical marks.
-
Names of general categories of Sanskrit works (e.g., Vedas, Upaniṣads, Purāṇas) should be in transliteration with diacritical marks, but not italicized.
-
Abbreviations of Sanskrit texts should not be italicized. For example: ṚV (Ṛgveda), SV (Sāmaveda).
-
Proper names of people or places in transliteration should not be italicized but should include diacritical marks, e.g., Rāma, Prayāga.
-
Epithets or adjectives in transliteration should be italicized, e.g., Paulasatya, Kārtavīrya.
-
Sanskrit quotations (in part or full) must be written in Devanāgarī script both in the main text and footnotes.
-
Non-English words (Sanskrit/Prakrit, etc.) must be written in transliteration, in italics, and with proper diacritical marks.
-
When using abbreviations, the full form must be provided upon first usage, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses. The abbreviation can then be used throughout the article.

References should appear as footnotes at the bottom of each page and be numbered sequentially. Footnotes must include full citation details in the following order:

Title of the work (in italics)
-
Publisher
-
Place of publication
-
Year and edition
-
Page numbers (if applicable)
-
ISBN (if available)
-

For book reviews, the book details must be listed in this order:
i. Title (in italics, with volume number if applicable)
ii. Author/Editor
iii. Publisher
iv. Place of publication
v. Year and edition
vi. Total pages and price
vii. ISBN (if any)
The reviewer’s name should appear on the right side at the end, and their affiliation/address on the left side. -

All submitted articles are subject to double-blind peer review. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions. Reasons for rejection will not be disclosed.

Each contributor will receive one complimentary copy of the Journal.

Manuscripts must be typed on A4-size paper, on one side only, and submitted in clear print.
