Abstract

William Shakespeare is one of the most famous playwrights in the English language. His plays are full of symbolism, which can be used to add meaning and depth to his characters and stories. This paper will examine the use of symbolism in Shakespeare's plays, focusing on how he uses symbols to represent different themes and ideas. The paper will also explore the ways in which audiences can interpret Shakespeare's symbols.
