Abstract

 

 

The necessity for sustainable methods in large-scale events has become crucial as environmental concerns throughout the world intensify. This research looks at the economic, social, and environmental effects of the Olympic Games through a thorough case analysis. The research identifies major barriers like resource allocation, stakeholder participation, and infrastructure demands using qualitative and quantitative approaches. It also draws attention to ways that sustainability initiatives can be strengthened through legacy planning, community involvement, and innovation.

On the other hand, the report also identifies important prospects, including the possibility of novel approaches to sustainable practices, the advancement of environmental consciousness worldwide, and the support of regional economic growth. The results highlight the value of integrated planning, stakeholder participation, and the implementation of cutting-edge sustainability technologies, and they offer practical insights and strategic recommendations for future Olympic Games and similar mega-event organizers. This study adds to the growing body of knowledge on sustainable event management by providing a thorough framework for striking a balance between the demands of sustainability and opulence while planning events of the highest caliber.
