Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial literacy programs on financial inclusion and economic empowerment of rural farmers in Haryana, India. Despite the state's strong agricultural sector, many rural farmers lack the financial knowledge necessary to effectively manage their resources and access financial services. This research utilizes a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to evaluate the impact of financial literacy initiatives. The findings suggest that financial literacy programs significantly enhance farmers' ability to access and utilize financial services, leading to improved economic outcomes. The study highlights the importance of integrating financial education into rural development strategies to foster sustainable economic growth.
