Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an integral part of modern business operations, with companies increasingly recognizing the importance of giving back to society and contributing to sustainable development. This research paper aims to explore the role of CSR in business, with a focus on the various benefits it can bring to companies, as well as the challenges and limitations that may arise. The paper will begin by defining CSR and discussing its evolution over time. It will then delve into the different dimensions of CSR, including environmental, social, and economic responsibilities. The potential benefits of implementing CSR initiatives will be outlined, such as improved reputation, stakeholder engagement, and financial performance. The paper will also examine the challenges that companies may face when implementing CSR, such as the cost of implementation, conflicting stakeholder interests, and potential risks to the business.
